I was getting ready to go to a party on Saturday, but with not knowing what I was going to wear I couldn't paint my nails until the last minute. It was one of those days when I knew it would end up with a pile of clothes on the bed with me going back to the first outfit I tried on ( Why do we do that!). Well after finally deciding it was time to get those nails painted. I went to the fridge and pulled out the draw where we keep our favourite nail varnishes ( yes in the fridge as this stops them from going all gloopy and gives a really lovely smooth finish!).

I went for Rimmels" I Love Lasting Finish" in Black Cherries 193, I hadn't used this colour before so I was keen to give it a try. It said that it was chip
resistant on the back, I've read this many times and even on some of the more expensive ones they never are!

On opening the tiny bottle ( 8ml ) I immediately noticed that it had a lovely shiny glimmer to it. It was a really lovely colour of deep purple ( in fact just like black cherries!). It covered each nail perfectly and I didn't need to do another coat which was great as I was running late.

Well I can honestly say that this is a really great nail varnish as true to it's word four days on and it has not chipped, by the 5th day it is just starting
to chip at the tops, but I did spend yesterday afternoon gardening so I would have expected it to be a lot worse. Unlike the trouble I had with my
No.7 nail varnish ( As I explained in my last review about nail varnishes ).

Rimmel has got the tag of being a cheap brand and aimed at the younger
generation, but I now will be looking into some of their other products. If they are as good as this nail varnish for quality then that will be great!

These nail varnishes can be bought in Boots and Superdrug plus other shops like large Asda's, Tesco's and Sainsbury's. At the moment Superdrug are doing 3 for 2 with the cheapest being free and they cost £2.93. So I will be popping out later to stock up on some more in different colours. I prefer this particular brand more than my "nails inc." that I have got which cost hell of a lot more!!!
