Advantages: Long-lasting colour that transfers smoothly from stick to lip.

Disadvantages: Unavoidably heavy upon application and hard to remove.

Kate Moss was probably too busy being photographed combining vague rock'n'roll with anorexia to really have anything to do with these lipsticks; but whoever her assistant's assistant delegated it to did a fine job. The lipstick comes in a simple but attractive matt black container that contrasts nicely with the black shiny Rimmel ribbon running through the middle and the red Kate written on the lid. The collection has a decent but traditional range of colours and nudes, pinks, reds and purples are all available. The lipstick itself is easy to apply, the colour transfers smoothly to your lips though it can feel a little heavy at time. Blotting is almost always necessary to prevent looking overly made up in daytime but this heaviness does contribute to its hydrating, almost moisturising feel. For a fairly inexpensive product the colour is long-lasting and doesn't fade or smudge easily. However it can be stubborn when it comes to removal; cleanser and wipes may have to be targeted in tandem. Overall however the Kate Moss Lipstick is reasonably priced, effective and enjoyable to use lipstick.

Summary: An attractively packaged, effective everyday lipstick from Kate Moss' people.
