Advantages: Good colours, value for money and try free at the moment with a Rimmel Nail Polish purchase.
Disadvantages: Not that durable and slightly drying
Rimmel Lipstick is a good quality well-priced range which has recently enjoyed a revamp in its packaging design to bring it more in line with other competitors.
The range of colours are good with my long-time favourites being Coffee Shimmer and Heather Shimmer (although I have not seen Heather in the new packaging yet). They are well priced at £2.49 each.
I find that the durability is not really that high - although you can enhance it by taking time with a lipbrush to ensure a correct and lasting application. I would still advise taking this lipstick with you to reapply throughout the day - although this is a small price considering the value for money and this lipstick is really easily applied directly onto your lips.
They are not greasy in texture and are fairly long-lasting considering I would apply mine 3-4 times in a day.
They can be quite drying if used continually although I usually apply a lip balm over the top to create more moisture.
Worth a look - and Boots are offering them free if you buy a 12ml Nail Polish Long Lasting or 60 Seconds in an amazing array of colours (which I can vouch for as being excellent (see my review for the 60 seconds range).
