Rimmel do it again (Rimmel Lipstick)
Member Name: Ariel_uk
Advantages: Long lasting, Not drying, Cheep Disadvantages: limited colour range
I am a fan of Rimmel products generally – essentially they are department store quality at high street prices – what’s not to like! Lond lasting lipsticks have been around for ages now in the top ranges, but it’s still a challenge to find an affordable option. And once again, Rimmel have come to the rescue. The range does have some15 or 18 shades, but most are very similar, with the same base tones. I do, therefor, find their range of lipstick colours to be rather limited - a lot of warm pinky browns, and bright reds which do nothing for my colouring. Divine Lilac, however, is a lovely cool pale purple with a faint metallic sheen to it (it looks much darker in the tube than it goes on, but remains cool toned, unlike many other colours). Obviously only for evening, but a real find non-the-less. A pale purple that doesn’t go pink on me is a rare rare thing! Summary: |
