So, how did I end up coming across this mascara? Everyone who knows me knows I am a product whore. Endless makeup products and perfumes litter every inch of my room and I can never be satisfied with just the one of anything. I constantly get bored and switch brands, but I have stuck with Rimmel for a while now. Why is this? As usual I was a sucker for a celebrity endorsement. I saw the adverts which had Kate Moss advertising this mascara in a cool leather jacket (which I also went out and bought, I am that sad) and extra long beautiful lashes. Literally stopping traffic. As well as the promises of 'up to 70% lash lift' I'll admit the main reason for me buying ... Read the complete review

I am still on the hunt for the ‘perfect mascara’, though I’m beginning to feel the ‘perfect mascara’ may be as real as the fairy at the bottom of my garden - hard to shake the notion that they really do exist, but however much you hunt, I fear the search will be in vain. Who wouldn’t get lulled into thinking that this mascara can REALLY make your eyes look huge, and that it will “lift and extend lashes vertically by 70%” when you look at Kate Moss and all the other models who are in the adverts!? Though I’ve noticed that on some mascara adverts they’ve started putting “model is wearing false lashes” at the bottom of the screen. This further shatters my illusion that ... I've been using Rimmel Mascaras for years now. I trust them 100% and I have a range of thier products in my make-up bag. I decided to purchase their newest mascara a couple of months ago, when it was on an introductory offer (those of you who have read my review for the new Maybelline Define-a-lash, will know I always buy my make-up when it first comes out so i get it cheaper :P). I first bought the non-waterproof edition, but then decided to go for the waterproof version when it came out afew weeks later, so my review will include what i thought about both products. PACKAGING ------ As usual, with most Rimmel mascaras, there ... Read the complete review

Well I have tried endless different mascaras...so i now see myself as something of an expert in the field! I sort of stumbled upon this mascara almost by accident it was a featured product in one of those beauty progammes...I think it might have been that one with Gok Wan "How to look good naked!" So my mum bought it but didn't like it at all! So she passed it on to me to see what I thought I must admit that i liked it initially when I first tried it...then i realised, I have much better mascaras than this lying at the bottom of my makeup bag! I guess I just like trying something new but i reckon this is a bit of a gimick and people will ... Read the complete review

Having read a positive review of this mascara, I decided to give it a go as it's been a while since I bought myself a new mascara. Packaging ******** This mascara hardly jumps out at you from the shelf, in fact I think the design is a little dated and boring. Mine is an all black long tube with a slanted edge at the top. In bright red writing, the product declares itself as 'magnif'eyes', a slightly naff play on words there...It promises along the edge to 'lift and extend lashes vertically by 70%', an ambitious claim!! Application ********* As always, remove the cap and the wand is pulled out. The tip is very thin ... Read the complete review
