Rimmel Nail Rescue
Advantages: Repairs nails, clear, can be a base coat
I decided to buy this as I always bit my nails which made them weak even after I stopped, so when starting my beauty therapy course I felt like I needed stronger nails that I could grow longer without breaking.
You can tell by looking at someones nails if they used to or still bite their nails, it takes a long time to repair.
My nails were also very bendy.
About the product
It is a two week treatment which all you need to do is on week one add a coat, week two remove and re apply. It is a clear product so if you can't have coloured nails for work or whichever reason you should still be able to wear this without an issue.
I have continued using this since last August and my nails have gotten much stronger, they no longer bend or break.
I have also used this as a basecoat - dark polish can stain nails, I would also advise applying nail oil before application.
It dries quickly so you don't need to be careful of smudging, it doesn't streak - when it looks like lines down your nails.
It's available for £3.49 in Superdrug.
Clear bottle so you can see the product inside with a white lid, good size of bottle.
Lid a good size to grip properly when applying, red writing making it clear to write. The brush is also a good size for application.
I found this really worked and is worth the money, you don't need much when applying so lasts a long time. Nails are strong and no longer bend or break off.
Doesn't chip off when going for showers/baths so no need to keep applying.
Great application and consistency, nothing worse when you need to buy thinner because its too thick.
I would definitely recommend this product to keep your nails healthy.
Summary: Great product!
