Being a little short on funds and desperate not to look piggy-eyed I went to the Rimmel part of my local chemist to look for an affordable eye liner.

I picked up a pencil and really feel now that it was false economy.

The pencil cost £1.99 but for £3.99 I could have bought one of the sticks that swivels soft Kohl.

I doubt if I will use the eye liner again, it nearly ripped my eyelid. I tend to put the liner inside my bottom eyelid as it gives the best effect for me and lets me get away with wearing no mascara at times. However, although I bought what looked like a dark brown liner, when I tried to apply it it was very hard and more of a tan colour, which meant I had to go over and over it, which, in turn made my eyes water.

Rimmel products are usually okay but, if it's a soft but stunning effect you want, this is not the one to buy.
