Rimmel Stay Matte pressed powder is a godsend. And a reasonably-priced godsend at that! My skin is sort of uneven, and I was wandering around Superdrug one afternoon in the Christmas holidays, looking at row after row of neatly-stacked hair-removal cream, shaving foam and deodrant. I turned into the make-up aisle and a <i>£2 OFF SELECTED ITEMS!</i> sign screamed at me. Yes, I know, I am a cheapskate, and I went to have a look. I wasn't expecting a lot, not for £3.79 reduced to £2.79. I wanted it mainly to set my foundation.

This is amazing! The best you can buy for under a fiver. I haven't worn my foundation for weeks now - this gives enough coverage to even out my skintone and is long-lasting.

I applied with a make up brush, brushing over my forehead, cheeks and chin, after moisturising and was pleasantly surprised. It gave me enough coverage to minimise freckles and uneven areas of skin, but if you have blotchy, blemished skin, this won't be enough alone. However, if you have okay skin and need just sheer coverage, this is the one for you!

9/10 - it doesn't come with a pad so if you don't have something to apply it with, you'll have to buy something!
