not so flawless! (Rimmel Recover Foundation)

Advantages: Variety of colours, good price, good availability in shops

Disadvantages: Looks cakey, rubs off to easily

I didn't like this foundation very much. I have tried and tested many foundations over the years (I make myself sound old!) and this hasn't been one that stood out for me I'm afraid. I've also tried Rimmels Cool Matte foundation and wasn't impressed.

This foundation is designed to illuminate your skin, but i felt it just looked very cakey... after applying a small amount. It also rubs off very easy, leaving that dreaded orange collar! Gads!

One advantage is they have a variety of colours so it is ideal for many skin tones. It is also a very cheap foundation and can be bought in shops such as Superdrug, Boots and Asda. The cost per bottle is roughly £4.99 which is very cheap for a foundation.

Sadly, it didn't do the job for me so I will not be buying this again - although when it coems to foundation, everyones opinions are different.

The bottle is easy to use as it is plastic and you just need to squeaze it a tiny bit as the liquid can be quite runny. The bottle also has a screw top lid so it can be stored away safely, without the worry of it spilling.

The coverage wasn't that great either, which is ideally what you are looking for in a foundation in the first place!

All in all - not a good buy.
