I brought this Rimmel Soft Kohl eyeliner as a replacement for a more expensive eyeliner that I had lost, the low cost was an attractive feature!
The eyeliner I purchased was 061 Jet Black, the colour the of the eyeliner is an intense dark black. The eyeliner is easy to apply since it is a soft kohl and glides on easily leaving a dark line of colour. The eyeliner is not too soft and when sharpening the eyeliner does not tend to crumble. I really like the effect that this eyeliner gives; it allows an intense dark colour from a pencil and a line which is not too thick. I tend to draw the line fairly close to my lash line and this stays in place for a reasonable amount of time.
One of the only things which annoy me about this eyeliner is how easily it smudges. I have a tendency to rub my eyes and very often end up with black lines on the back of my hand or dark smudges around my eyes. However, this may just be because it is a soft kohl and is designed to be smudged to give that effect. Despite this one issue with this eyeliner, I really like this eyeliner and would not hesitate to buy it again.
