Another Rimmel review i know but i just love this brand and have experienced so many of their products i can really get a good overview of them. Ive tried several of the rimmel eyeliners but this one i am by far impressed with.

I brought this looking for a smoother pencil compared to a miss sporty one i previously had so this was definetly an improvement. Picked it up for £2.99 from Superdrug, pretty average price for eyeliner these days really. This special eyes edition only came in the black at this time but that was perfect as i prefer a more defined look.

Got it home and the packaging was plain and simple with enough instructions and i was actually suprised to read it lasted 30 months when opened as previous eyeliners of mine have only been between 18 and 24 months. Not that it would probably last that long but its definetly worth while knowing. The top is nice and secure but easy to get off. The material of the packaging is great, the kind where if other make up gets on it or the eyeliner itself, it easily wipes off. Great!

The eyeliner itself is a very smooth, defined pencil.. well i wouldnt call it a pencil actually its more like a cross between the gel and liquid eyeliners. Great suprise as this one didnt scratch my eyes at all like most eyeliners have to me so no pain! :) It runs smooth across your eyes no matter where you apply it and doesnt get stuck in any gaps or wrinkles which is fantastic. Although its smooth, its not too thick so doesnt clump or over exaggerate a look for any occasion.

Its a very defined pencil so its great for both above and below your eyes for a casual day or night out. Thats the best thing about this product, one coat of the colour is great for the day but a few coats really brings out your eye colour and enhances those eyes for a good night out. By that i mean it darkens them, and makes them lots more vibrant. It can be a very dark shade of black.

One applied, i found it didnt really smudge too much unless obviously you started rubbing it. Stayed great on my eyes all night, more so on top of the eyelids though as may need few re-applications on the usual place throughout the day/night. The colour intensity was just as dark or light as you applied it to be. This pencil has lasted me for months with daily usage!!! Definetly will be alot longer yet so a real bargain!

Finally its simple to get off with a make up wipe and doesnt leave dark circles or lines under your eyes either like most eyeliners do. Fantastic all around!
