I went through a phase of wearing more vibrant colours (usually metallic) and ended up purchasing several to try out. I spotted the Special Eyes pencil in Azure Shimmer whilst shopping and realised that I didn't have such a colour...cue, impulsive purchase...The colour is a lovely medium, metallic blue colour.

Packaging: The eyeliner looks pretty standard and measures around 13.5 cm with the cap on. The lid is the colour of the eyeliner, so mine is a rather pretty blue. The cap doesn't really reflect the colour since it's quite a bit darker than the eyeliner colour. There is a lot of writing on the eyeliner body in white on a black background. The barcode itself takes up a lot of the body since these eyeliners don't come boxed up.

~~My Thoughts~~
The biggest selling point for me was definitely the intensity of the pigment. The consistency isn't hard nor soft, but you don't need much force to apply. To get the intense blue though I did have to go over the same line several times; this didn't bother me though. This eyeliner also smudged quite easily, which is quite nice if you want your eye makeup to look softer. The colour remains quite vivid after smudging. The colour isn't completely uniform, but there was no blatant flakiness like the Khôl & Contour eyeliner I reviewed before. Staying power wise, it wasn't so great and did not last that long, which was disappointing since I did want to like this eyeliner.

~~Overall~~
Nice colour during initial application, but wears off pretty quickly. I wouldn't repurchase it and will give it 3 stars out of 5.
