I was given this lip- gloss as a present and I have to say that at first I thought it was going to be one of those products that sit at a bottom of a drawer for about a year! (You know the products!)
The main reasons that I thought this lip-gloss was defiantly not going to be the one for me, was that the colour of the one I had, and the fact that it is quite sparkly. But after trying this lip gloss, I was pleasantly surprised with how much I actually liked it!
Firstly, the Vinyl Stars lip gloss comes in a 5 ml tube and inside there is a sponge wand for application. I really like the fact that it has a sponge wand rather than a brush, this is purely because I find that applying the product is much easier. The product itself is easy to apply, in the sense that it is not sticky. It is more like a liquid gloss than anything else, which I really like.
Now even looking at the tube, you can tell that it has sparkles in it. Once the lip gloss is applied, you can notice the sparkles, but you can not feel them at all. This for me is something which I can not stand, having a sparkly lip gloss on which feels like you have small stones stuck to your lips!
The colour of this lip gloss can seem a dark red in the tube, but once applied I found that the colour was only strong if you applied a lot to your lips.
I have to say that I found this lip gloss isn't the best for staying on. After a while, the gloss will fade and you are left with the remainder of sparkles on you lips.
Now for the price. I have looked around trying to find the best price for this lip gloss and so far the best is... £4.50. I think that it is a good price for this lip gloss, but I have to say that I don't use it as much as other products I have. I mainly wear this lip gloss at parties and I think that this product would be perfect for adding sparkle to any Christmas party!
