I have a thing about mascara. I buy them, love them and then hate them. I'm just not a fan but like most women I do need them and I would never dream of going out and not wearing any I'd just feel like I forgot something and it's like forgetting to put on ya knickers! I hate the stuff. I'm yet to find one I love and stick with (much like men lol). I never buy expensive mascara's. Not because I'm tight (I'm really not lol) but a mascara lasts about 3 months and I find in that time I maybe wear it 6 or 7 times so I'd never buy one for 15 quid or anything and I know the more you pay the better. If I used it more often I'd pay the price believe me! Then again if I ... Read the complete review

I bought this when it first came out a few years ago. One of the first mascaras to use a comb and not a brush. To me a new technique with mascara meant I had to try it. It is very thick you can see this when you pull the comb out to apply. It is more difficult to use then normal brushes and if like me you jhave light eyelashes it can take a while to get good coverage. When you do get the hang of it though it does give a great effect-like a false lash effect. It adds alot of length and seperates nicely BUT be warned it does clump very easily and it can create more mess on your face and hands then anything else. I found that I had to wipe the comb with ... The rimmel volum' eyes mascara is a very thick and comes with a comb rather than a brush. Having got bored of the usual brush applicators, i wanted to try the comb to see if it produced a different effect. I have fount with brush applicators that it takes a while to build up layers and can leave clumps when the mascara gets thick. At first on removing the comb from the tube of rimmel Volum' Eyes i was unsure of how to use it. I began using it like i would a brush stroking from the root of my lashes to the tip and repeating until i had the desired amount of definition and volume. The edges of the comb are sharp so you must be careful not ... Read the complete review

I decided to purchase this mascara, as like most other women, I always want the best, the cheapest and the easiest to apply, but overall one that will make my lases look long, luxious and sexy. I have used Rimmel before and had never been disappointed with their products, but this mascara has been their first product to disappoint me and in a big way too. Yes I know it is a comb applicater instead of a wand and it would take some time to get used to, but that is putting it mildly. I thought that a comb applicator would be so much easy to use but I have found it to be the complete opposite. On opening the tube the comb is covered in that ... Read the complete review
