I bought this mascara from our local pound shop and I now know why this was only £1. To start with this is a strange shape, it is rounded at both ends because both ends have a use unlike most mascaras. One end is red the other white, both hold brushes. One thing I didn't like about this product when I first went to use it was the pull off ends. Rather than unscrewing them, they just pulled off which didn't seem that secure to me.

Once off the white lid end, holds white mascara (to me had a strange chemical smell) which you coat your lashes with. The red end is your normal black mascara, both brushes were a bit thin and wimpy to be frank, I didn't like the feel of them and have defiantly used better brushes on other products. The white mascara, it goes on the lashes ok and coats well, looks a bit scary when on though  Once dry you then use the black mascara and cover the white, which then gives the impression of volume to your lashes. The white was very difficult to cover with the black, once dry the white becomes hard like normal black mascara and trying to then cover this with a brush just didn't work. After removing the white mascara, which took a bit of time. I applied just the black and on its own it is a very mediocre mascara. It isn't anything special and the kind I would expect to find in a £1 store. To see it can cost up to £7 in Boots and the like, I find an outrage and wouldn't even pay the £1 I paid again, let alone anything higher. It was a disappointment all round and I wouldn't buy it again.
