The brush itself is really, really soft; I was expecting the brush to be soft due to the good reviews I have read previous but I didn't think it would be as soft as it is. The brush is flat and rounded off at the end, which is best for liquid makeup it is also not hard to the touch like other foundation brushes, which makes your liquid foundation streaky and bad quality.
