A great cream cheek colour which gives a natural looking blush if applied properly.

I really like packaging of this product. Its clear plastic oval shaped tube with the cream product in the middle and you push up when you need more. The clear plastic packaging shows how much product is left. It never looks like a lot even when you just buy it but it does last for a long time. The long oval shape of the packaging is great as it allows easy application onto your cheek bones.

The product applies really easily therefore does not need too much pressure when applying. If you press too hard put too much on your cheeks do look a little like a china doll and it the amount makes it difficult to blend and achieve a subtle look. Also if the product is cold or been in a really cold environment it doesn't go on too easily and evenly and you have to put a little bit more pressure on the stick when you sweep it across your cheeks.

Its probably one of my favourite cream blush products and don't be put off by the price it does last forever!!

I own a couple of shades of R&M's cream based cheek colour. The first thing that brought my attention to this product was the cute yet minimalistic packaging. It's a small clear flat container with a push up devise that allows you to use the colour. A great thing about the clear packaging is the fact that you can see exactly how much of the product you have left. There are about ten shades in the cream colour range and they are perfect for everbody. Some are sheer and some have a high pigment. I don't wear a lot of make-up and prefer a natural look so I went for a sheer gold (amazing on olive toned skin) and cranberry stain colour. When you first look at the colours, they look quite bright and intense but they come out with a healthy hint that can be built up. The texture of the product on the skin is really light which, makes it perfect for the summer as your skin can still breathe. Cream based blushers are good for dry skin but with this product isn't too waxy or oily so is fine for oily skin types as well. As for the colour lasting, it looks fresh on the skin for ages but if you want to build up the colour throughout the day, it is so compact and easy to do that it takes a second! You just glide it on your cheeks and blend with fingers. It also looks cool on the eyes and cheeks!

        Disadvantages

The Ruby and Millie blush is packaged the same as the eyeshadows and concealers, in a functional round case. The one I have is the powder blush, not the creme blush which comes in a twist up tube. The pigment is strong in the blusher because you only need to use a tiny amount to get a lot of colour (so slight word of caution here, since dipping your blusher brush into the pot will give too much colour in one go). The colours are natural, neutral colours in pinks and browns. The blusher lasts quite well, but, once its on, it is very difficult to blend, unlike creme cheek colurs, which feel much better on the skin, and look more modern and are blendable. However if you want a powder blush, this is quite good because you get a good colour that lasts, but as usual with Ruby and Millie products, you don't get that much, and I can already see the silver at the bottom of the case, even though I only got this 3 weeks ago and for £10, it is not value for money.
