Advantages: Everything

Disadvantages: It is a pricely brush (though will last a lifetime!)

I love eye make up! I love dark, dramatic eyes and anyone who also likes that type of look on them will realise that without really good quality tools instead of looking dramatic it can result in looking like a panda! I personally like high quality brushes as I feel I get the best results time and time again.

When in Boots looking to update my current brushes I came across these from Ruby & Millie. I had already decided to buy the £15.00 blusher brush and was a bit wounded at the price so I thought what the heck type of thing I may as well go to town and get some more! lol. My only decision was which eyeshadow brush I wanted (I certainly wasn't buying two lol) and I opted to buy the larger of the two as I felt I'd get the most use from it!

The Packaging And The Brush:

The brush comes in a zip up clear plastic long pouch and that's it really. I'm told what it is and who it's buy and it's a handy addition to the brush. At this price you want to protect them eh?! The brush itself is long, silver and not very thick. Along the brush in discreet writing I'm told it is Ruby & Millie 'Eyes' and to one end of it there is the brush with it's light golden brown bristles and it has a slight taper to it. It simply looks a high quality, elegant brush with a professional look to it!

The Brush:

Is excellent of course. The bristles are about had an inch long and although soft enough to the touch (and when using) it they are firm (though not too hard). They don't bounce anywhere and with this brush you have total control. So add your colour to it and that colour doesn't flick anywhere it shouldn't and does as you tell it!

The size of this is great for all over colouring in on the eyes with eyeshadow but because it has a taper to it is great as well for shading (mainly larger areas).

It's comfortable to use and I find it great and time and time again although I have various eyeshadow brushes to take my pick from time and time again my hands wander to this one because of it's ease of use! It's simply a great all round tool! It lifts dry powders with ease and the quality of it is marvelous! It doesn't lose hairs over time, you can tap the brush after using it and it releases colour particles which means you don't have to keep washing them but of course you can wash them too with mild shampoo or soap and they remain as good as new.

I think these brushes are a line worth investing in. I find them so easy to create the looks I want to and they are robust! A great buy!

I bought mine in Boots for £11.50 but do look about online for these as you can get them alot cheaper if you search hard enough!

Summary: A great tool!
