Ruby Hammer & Millie Kendall are behind the make up brand that is Ruby & Millie. Started 6 years ago Ruby is a make up artist of Asian descent, gleaning ideas from Bollywood movies and Millie had her own PR company promoting beauty brands before helping to set up this uber cool company. Their products can be found in department stores and most notably Boots the Chemist (Larger Stores Only)

      ~The Lip Liner ~
This lip liner comes in several pink/red shades, Rose, Nude and Red Wine being a few of them. It is retractable and you use like a normal retractable pencil.

No hefty boxes or unnecessary packaging for Ruby & Millie. The Lip liner is, as is in the Ruby & Millie stands. It is completely silver in colour with Ruby & Millie in faint brushed Silver writing on the side of the pencil and at the bottom of the pencil is a clear sticker with the item name and colour. Their packaging is not over the top, there are no 'labels' everywhere. It is understated, yet cool.

      ~Tried & Tested~
I have used this product for sometime and always pick it up when Boots have a £5 off voucher going on (when you spend £10 in Boots get £5 off Ruby & Millie products) as this product usually cost £9.50. This lip liner helps keep my lipstick in shape and makes it last longer. Make up professionals usually say to match your liner to the colour of your lips. I match my liner to the lipstick.
My lipstick is not Ruby & Millie, however I have a colour that is similar. I put the liner over almost all of my lips then go over with lip stick , then blot (and check the teeth of course). This will last me a good few hours that just lipstick on its own. Because the lipliner is more like lipstick in a pencil form than a pencil it doesn't drag the skin and also keeps your lips fairly moist until you need to reapply.

A great product I will continue buying (as long as I have some sort of discount - we are credit crunching after all !
