The instructions advise to hold the pen upside down for 10 - 15 seconds then simply wipe over the mistake - simples. You do have to ensure you wipe the tip after every use to keep the pen clean which is a bit of a down side but only to be expected.

I have found this to be a great product. The pen design means that you can correct a mistake with precision so you do not end up in a bigger mess and having to completely re-appy. I have so far found the product to be effective on eye and lip liner and on mascara. The mascara I used was not waterproof but apparently it can be used to correct this too. This is a handy little product to slip in your make up or hand bag to correct mistakes whilst out and about.
