Advantages: Cheap, wide range of colours, brush included, waterproof, last all day, don't crack on eyelid

Disadvantages: None! :)

The Sleek Inkpot Get Liners are a product I had had my eye on for a while before I bought them. I found these in Superdrug and had seen them compared endlessly to the MAC and Bobbi Brown equivalents. Being a student, I find myself not being able to afford many higher end brands, so I opted for the Sleek Ink Pot instead. If I remember correctly, the Ink Pot was under £4 so much cheaper than the MAC and Bobbi Brown versions. I have two of the Ink Pots - one in Dominatrix which is a jet black and Stone Cold which is a dark blue-grey. Honestly, when I was in Superdrug I thought Stone Cold was a slate grey so was a bit disappointed when it had a blue tinge to it, yet the colour is slowly growing on me. Stone Cold is much more muted and perfect for wearing during the day when a full heavy black liner may be a bit much for some people. Personally, I don't mind wearing black liner during the day.

The packaging for the Ink Pot is super cute. The pot itself is pretty small but this will last you a long time. The black lid is your typical screw off lid and has Ink Pot written across it in baby pink. The rest is a frosty glass jar. Sleek Ink Pots come with a tiny little eye liner brush which would be perfect to use if it wasn't so tiny! I use an angled liner brush (which if anyone wants to know I got at HobbyCraft!!!) and although this new brush works perfectly for me, the little included brush may work for you!

The gel liner itself is a solid block of colour that looks pretty hard but once you have picked some up with your eyeliner brush it becomes....well....like a gel! The liner is highly pigmented and in particular the black (Dominatrix) is as black as black can be! It applies to the eyelid very smoothly and you really don't need much to line your upper lash line. I can see the Sleek Ink Pot lasting me for more than a year; I have had it for around 6 months now. Although I don't use it every day, I have made a pretty tiny dent in the gel liner. The Sleek Ink Pot doesn't dry up like a similar gel liner I have does.

Sleek claim that the gel liner is a 'long lasting and waterproof' liner and I can safely say that they are true to their word. The liner lasts all day and it doesn't crack along my eyelid. I have only used one gel liner before which was an Avon one. In comparison, the Sleek Ink Pot overtakes Avon easily in terms of staying power.

The Sleek Ink Pots can be a bit difficult to remove from your lid since they are waterproof, yet a specific eye make up remover does the job for me. There are a lot of colours available in the Ink Pot range (pink, blue, orange, yellow), you can look at the colours available on the website below.

I understand that some people have had trouble hunting down the Sleek range of makeup - I don't have the same problem and I can find it in most of the Superdrug stores local to me. A full list of stockists is available on the sleek website www.sleekmakeup.com.

I would definitely say that this is the best gel liner I have used and will repurchase the black one once I have run out of my current one. The purple Ink Pot looks gorgeous too (it is called Purple Rain) and I might have to pick this one up next time I am in Superdrug!

I recommend these Sleek Ink Pots no end and for the low price, even if you find they are not for you, you haven't spent a small fortune as you may have done with a higher end brand.

Summary: The best gel liner I have used and I will keep going back to these Ink Pots! :)
