If I could do four and half stars I would, shame it doesn't last a bit longer.

I had never heard of the Sleek make up range, until I was browsing the make up in Superdrug a few weeks ago. I think it was the unsual design of the products that caught my attention, in particular the Kajal eyeliner.

To look at it, you'd be forgiven to mistake it for a lipstick. The chunky retractable tube with lid is not what I'm used to with an eyeliner. There is also a piece of ribbon from the base which I guess it's used to get a grip on whilst taking the top off, but is also very decorative.

The eyeliner itself is in a chunky cone shape, reminding me very much of a crayola crayon tip! I love making smoky, slighty messy effect eyes and thought this would be perfect.

Using the product is easy, it's so soft it glides on the skin without much pressure, yes you get a very smudgy black line, this is not a product for precision but I love the effect it gave. Usually I use a liner pencil and black eyeshadow, sometimes a liquid liner too to create my smoky eye effect. Well with this I got pretty much the same effect in seconds with this. Used to line under the eye and smudged in just with my finger on the lid, I got an instant dramatic effect. For something different I've used a bright colour shadow underneath and smuged a little of this in the corners which is also quick and effective.

The only issue I had was because it was so soft it didn't last the whole day and tended to smudge off, however the design is so compact and would not break in your handbag, I just carry it round and reapply, as it's so quick it's not a lot of effort. After all the little thing saved me time in the morning!

The cost of this eyeliner is a very reasonable £3.99. I've been using it most days for a few weeks now and it doesn't seem to have gone down too much either. A little goes a long way. The liner comes in two colours, purple and black, I went for classic black. However, the box the it came in said purple and inside it was black, I think Superdrug's stock must have been a little muddled up.

Overall, I product I recommend and new favourite in my make up bag!
