Sleek Pout Polish
Advantages: cheap, good quality and lots of colours to choose from.
Disadvantages: none for me
I like to update my make up collection regularly when I realised make up had use by dates I had to through a lot of my make up out especially items I had owned for over 5 years and I bought lots of new make up to replace the items I through away. I am trying hard to save money at the moment and try to save money where I can. I am a big fan of expensive cosmetics but I have found a few good brands now that cost a fraction of the price one of my new favourite brands are Sleek.
Sleek is a relativity new brand on the market and pride themselves on bringing cutting edge make up to the high street and have developed make up for all skin tones at cheap prices but excellent quality.
Sleek make up can be bought on there own website or some super drug shops sell sleek make up.
The last sleek product I bought was Sleek Pout Polish, its like a lip balm and conditions lips but has lots of colour like a lipstick. I bought the Powder Pink one but they have many many shades to choose from 12 in total. It comes In a clear container which the colour shows through and is hand to know how much you have left. The lid is black with bright pink writing on it which shows the word sleek on it. Its pocket sized and handy to pop in your bag or pocket and the lid comes of without much effort.
The pout polish is easy to apply I usually apply with my finger but if im going on a night out I apply it with my lip make up brush for a better finish. I very smooth to apply and covers well, it has conditioning ingredients such as sweet almond oil, avocado and jojoba. It conditions my lips well and I noticed a difference in my lips within a few days and they now look a lot healthier. I always end up with cracked lips at the slightest sign of cold weather so I have stocked up on the lip pout polish for over the winter months. It contains SPF 15 which is a added bonus and will protect you from sun rays, I took it with me on my summer holidays just to be on the safe side as not many lip balms offer that protection.
The powder pink pout polish has a very nice nude pink tint to it, it looks natural and enhances my lips. I prefer a natural look for day wear and it was very handy. It did need reapplied regularly but I did not mind as I expect to after all it is a lip balm. For my evening look I applied a little foundation to my lips and then applied the balm and the colour stood out more on my lips. The little tub has lasted me 3 months and I still have lots left so I feel its good value for money as it only cost £4.30. Thats cheaper than a lipstick.
I recommend this pout polish to anyone who wants a easy make up routine and if you dont want to spend a lot of money. Its a lip balm and lipstick in one.
