Advantages: Some plumping
Disadvantages: Pricey for what you get
I'm a big fan of Soap and Glory products and I have a lot of the range as I find them to be good quality and worth the little extra you sometimes pay. I'm not so keen on the name of this particular lip gloss as such but it works really well so I can forgive the tacky innuendo.
It has the distinctive retro pink packaging with a picture of what looks a bit like the face of a sex doll but just a likely could be a very young Bridget Bardot (in reality it is probably neither).
It is intended to make your lips look fulkler and plumper and certainly it does add a little volume when smoothed onto your lips, it also gives them a nice shine as well. It comes in a number of different shades, I quite like both the subtle pink and also the peach shades. When you apply it there is a slight tingling sensation which is the lip gloss expanding to give the plumping effect, this is not an unpleasant sensation and does not last that long. It also has a slight glitter effect to it which you can notice in the light.
It is not sticky or glumpy but smooth to apply and while it des not cause a significant increase in volume the change is noticeable, you do not want it to be too much otherwise you will have trout mouth syndrome an look awful.
Overall another good Soap and Glory product however I'm not totally convinced that this one justifies the £7 to £8 price tag.
