Advantages: It does work with continued use

Disadvantages: Need more than one shade and a better applicator

If you have read some of my other reviews you will know I have tried a lot of the Soap and Glory range and I love nearly all of them. I bought the Trick and Treatment under eye concealer only because I was stocking up on my faves and wanted one more as it was the '3 for 2' offer on in Boots.

The Packaging & Price

The corrector or concealer comes in a glass transparent tube, with a small applicator attached to the lid. The packaging is simple with black bold text and it really stands out! The RRP is £9.00 for just 7ml, which may sound expensive compared to the rest of the Soap and Glory range but a little goes a long way. I have been using mine daily for 6 months and there's plenty left. Better still wait till it '3 for 2' at Boots.

The Product

The 'Corrector' claims to 'simultaneously hide and treat under eye circle...features a specail yellow pigment mix to neutralize dark purple under the eye(s)'. It has a lightening pigment - Haloxyltm' and a concealer to hide the circles while reducing them. Whe I first applied it I put way to much on. The Tip Applicator can put too much on and you only need to dab a little on as I found out! Just a little amount blended under the eyes does conceal come of the dark circles but not completely. I found that I still needed a little foundation over the top to hide them completely.

It comes in just one shade, where a couple more options may be benefical as I am quite pale and the colour was slightly too dark. It also seems to have some shine/illuminating effect to it when applied which I have noticed a few other reviews have mentioned. This gives a little bit of a sheen to under the eye which can look great and lighten your eye area. It doesnt mention anything about having illuminating qualities so this is a bonus.

The Results

Overall my undereye cicles do seem to have reduced. They are not quite as dark as they used to be and as I am sleeping exactly the same as before I know thats not had an effect so it must be Soap & Glory! Its definatly worth a try as mine where really dark and now I dont alwasy have to use the corrector which is great!

Summary: Give it a try, its worked for me!
