Background

I have had this a while, however had neglected it, however after having a sort out a few weeks back I rediscovered it and realised just how good it was. The product is basically an under eye concealer, and it works brilliantly at its job. Now you may be surprised but the product comes in just one shade (which is unfair for those of darker skin tones, or very pale skins.) The product has what looks like 'glitter' in it, and it's this that I believe makes it so good at really awakening the eyes and making the dark circles disappear; please note though the glitter isn't noticeable, it disappears on the skin which is good. I haven't specifically timed the products lasting and staying power, however also on the plus side I haven't noticed it to be out of placed or thought it needed touching up; which again is good enough for me.

The product is priced at £9 on Boots has 16 reviews giving it on average 4.5 stars and is currently available, however I have known this to be sold out in the past online. Now you make of those facts what you will, however it all sounds pretty good. The product comes in a slim tube, and the applicator is in a wand style, now as I said I have had this product a while and it hadn't been used for ages yet the consistency was perfect; as it still is now. The product initially comes in a cardboard box style packet; with a lot of nifty and quirky packaging words and quotations on the box (which is the general style and theme with all Soap & Glory products).

Rating & Re-purchase

The product is made by the popular brand 'Soap & Glory' which state they don't test on animals, with this in mind and the fact that I believed to have found my perfect under eye concealer under £10 I would have re-purchased, however unfortunately the product contains parabens, which is the only reason why I have marked this down a star. If you don't read into product ingredients then the product is great and does the job, however for me personally I am trying to rid of these ingredients from my beauty regime. This is a real downside for me, as with another recently reviewed Soap & Glory product; if they can correct and reformular this, then I would be buying stacks of the stuff.
