      Brilliant bronzer!

I bought the St Tropez bronzing brick almost a year ago now.

I don't use bronzer often and have only used this one a handful of times mainly during the summer months and while on holiday.

      ~ Price and availability ~
This bronzing brick is quite difficult to get hold of at the minute, but it is available for around £5.99 brand new on ebay. It may become more widely available again in the summer.

      ~ Packaging ~
The bronzing brick comes in a black compact with a clear lid, so that you can see the bronzer through the front. 'ST. TROPEZ' is in black letters down the side of the clear hinged lid.
The back of the compact has a list of the ingredients, an address for St Tropez and their web address, www.st-tropez.com. The bronzing brick weighs 12g and was made in China.
It also says, 'For an enhanced luminous effect, add a dusting of our Bronzing Brick to your face and décolletage area.'
The bronzer itself comes in 5 blocks of colour.

      ~ Use ~
The bronzer has 5 blocks of colour from a light almost white colour through to a much darker bronze colour and 3 in between colours. The colours are not in order from light to dark in the brick. The idea is to pick up all of the different colours on your brush when applying the bronzer.
I use this bronzer after applying my foundation and powder using a big brush in circular motions.
The bronzer is easy to pick up onto your brush and it is easy to apply. It transfers easily to your skin, without appearing too thick or dark. It looks quite natural with a light shimmer to it and it is not orange or over the top at all. It is not too shimmery either and it appears quite matte in the compact. It gives you a light bronzed look.
It is a nice way to give yourself a nice healthy glow without the need to use tanning products.
If applied correctly, it looks great on your skin and it is long lasting.
I really like this bronzer. It is the most effective bronzer I have used.

      ~ Conclusion ~
Overall I have been impressed with this bronzer. I would definitely buy this bronzer again and I would recommend it. It gives a really nice healthy, natural looking effect. It is not thick or over the top. It transfers onto my skin really easily and looks really effective. For the price I think it is great and you couldn't want much more from a bronzer.

        Bronzer

        Bronzing brick

I Like the St Tropez products and when I needed a new bronzer decided to give this one a whirl.

I think I paid £4.99 for mine although it is widely available online for a range of prices but watch out for p and p costs!

The Bronzing Brick is a compact bronzer incorporating 5 shades on the pallet. These colours are displayed as strips of colours in three different shades of browns from very light to dark, a pink, and at the end of the row, white. It is packaged in a compact type box with a clear plastic lid which has to be lifted by pressing the catch to get to the colours. Not the easiest thing to do as it's not immediately apparent which side I open and even when I work it out the catch is really stiff and there doesn't seem to be a logical way of opening it and nothing to press so it does take me some time to get it open.

The idea is that you brush the bronzing brush all over the palette to incorporate as many of the colours randomly onto the brush; circular motion is best for this. The powder does cling easily to the brush so its important not to overload the brush with colour, and best to apply in several goes rather than get a lot of colour and then have one side of the face browner than the other. Once the brush is loaded with colour, it simply has to be brushed over the face and neck to give a healthy glow, which it does quite easily, and if an added sun kissed look is required then just start again. Its important to remember here that this is best applied in light or you can end up looking a tad too bronzed!

        VERDICT...

The bronzing brick does give a good colour with little effort but it is easy to overdo the colour since it attaches itself so effortlessly to the brush. However with care and practice a nice sun kissed look can be achieved although it is best used when you have a sun tan.

It is reasonably priced and lasts a long time.

On the downside, the packaging is cheap looking and not easy to open the box.

All in all, its not the best bronzer I have had and is average at best.

        Thanks for reading

        Daniela xx
