      St Tropez

I like to have some type of bronzer for the summer months and especially when I have been on holiday as I can get a bit of colour without using full war paint!

I tend to like the St Tropez products so decided to invest in this product.

The product sits in a black compact with the St Tropez emblazoned on the lid. It opens with a small press down button which over the months I have had the bronzer has weakened and is now a bit loose. On opening the lid, the bronzer sits in a recessed area and on the inside of the lid is a mirror. It's a medium dark shade with a matt finish so eliminating any shininess.

      USING IT...

The powder itself is fine and when applied to a dome shaped brush it does load easily onto the brush. Some bits of the powder can fall off between compact and face, so no applying when wearing white clothes! It can be used alone or in conjunction with a St. Tropez or natural tan for a more dramatic look. It can be used all over the face or in specific areas for highlighting features. For a darker look, the product can be built up in layers but because it is quite dark I would suggest that frequent checks in natural light are taken because it can end up looking quite orangey. I have also found that it is quite difficult to blend because it loads so easily onto the brush so you can end up getting the bronzer on parts of the face you didn't intend to get the bronzer.

The bronzer is widely available in department stores and online. At £20 it's not cheap although there are sometimes special offers and it does last a long time

It's a good quality product but for the price, I have had better; it's almost as though I should like it because it's St Tropez!

Great for highlighting features when I have a tan but for me it's too dark for use when I don't have a tan. It's also not the easiest powder to blend.

That said, now that I have a tan, I will be using it until I go back to pale.

      Thanks for reading

      Daniela xx
