strong vivid tones (Stargazer Eye Dusts)

Advantages: variety of colours

Disadvantages: colour doesn't last very long

I was after a bright eyeshadow for a night out one day, and noticed these Stargazers eyeshadows. They come in a variety of strong, vivid tones in a powder form. They are easily applied with a brush or applicator, but i find i always get some down my face when applying.
When applied i find that they don't last awfully long so i always put a thin layer of vaseline on my eye lid first when helps it to stick, i swear by this tip, this can also help to create a stronger tone of the shade. Eventhough some of these colours are pretty bright they don't look stupid on your eye like some bright colours do, but i would say that they wouldn't suit everyone. I also like the fact that they have a subtle shimmer to it so they don't look toatlly matt when on your eye.
I wouldn't buy this product normally, but as a base tone they are ideal at around £3 each.

Summary: affordable eyeshadow, a good buy
