      Advantages

      Disadvantages

      A really good beauty bargain!

When it comes to eyliners I tend to be fan of just an ordinary eye pencil for day time, I know where I am with them afterall and find that with them I usually don't get a too dramatic result. However of an evening I do want more stand out results on my eyes so for those times I like a liquid eyeliner and I bought this one in the black option from Amazon.co.uk for just £2.70 which I thought was an excellent price considering what it is and that I have used Stargazer products in the past and been more than pleased with them!

I had several colour options to choose from when I opted for this. I could have gone for Blue, Red, Violet Or Turquoise and these varied a few pence in price. I only wanted the black though and never want a red though I guess these bright colours would be handy for a dramatic look and even for using when dressing up with!

The packaging is simple of these. Mine came in a black plastic tube that holds 8g of the product and the whole thing unscrews into two parts so that the bottom holds the colour inside and the top a 'wand' with a thin and rather long black hair brush and down the side of it we are clearly told what it is and who it is by, the weight is stated (as I have listed already), contact details are given for the manufacturer and on the bottom of the tube it is colour coded and the colour is named. It is robust, easy to open and close and so on and although not posh looking it does its job well for the money you pay!

      Using It:

What I got/still have is a really nice deep, dark black with a slight sheen to it. Its easy to apply this one and easy to achieve precision with it too and my trick is to gently draw on first with my usual eye liner kohl/pencil where I want to draw first then use the pen over the top! It s a nifty trick this one and I get the best results this way!

It dries fast, looks amazing and like I say is easy to apply. The brush being thin and with a long wand which isn't too flexible allows me precision and it dries quickly leaving a slight shine on where I have applied it to and that's it job done! It stays as good as when you have first applied and for hours with no smudging, flaking or anything else adverse and to removeit, it just takes your usual make up removing routine and nothing special.

      All In All:

A fantastic product that really is simple to use, cheap and effective. It never upsets my very sensitive eyes and can even withstand a tear or two. Its a great little beauty buy this one, lasts ages in the tube and ages on your eyes so what more can you ask for eh?!

Available from all good chemists, Google online or go to Amazon.com which stock a large variety of Startgazer products!

        Advantages

        Disadvantages

        Worth purchasing

As another reviewer has said, Stargazer is a company that tends to focus its products on bright colours for the alternative market. They sell everything from eyeshadows, to lipsticks, to foundations! I decided to pick up this eyeliner in 3 different colours and heres what I thought..

AVAILABLITY: I found these eyeliners in a small cosmetics store in the center of Manchester, however they are available online at E-bay, Amazon, Stargazercosmetics.com and most likely other cosmetic websites (have a search around). Also, New Look have recently began to stock the Stargazer range so I would say it is quite accessable.

PRICE: The price of these eyeliners for me was £3.50 each, however on the actual Stargazer website and in New Look they are selling for £3.99 ( If you have a student card you can recieve 10% off). On Ebay and Amazon etc they are also selling within the £3 price range. I think this is very affordable as liquid liners usually last a long time, so overall I'd say the price is brilliant and worth the money.

PACKAGING: If i'm honest, the packaging is not the best - very plain! It is basically a plain black tube with 'EYELINER' written across the front. You can tell it is a really inexpensive product but I dont mind. The lid is a simple twist-off lid. At the bottom of the tube it is clear so you can see what colour you are purchasing or using.

PRODUCT: The product itself comes in multiple shades such as Teal, Blue, Green, Pink, Red, Purple, Black, White, Grey and many more! So there is a very good colour range. I picked up the Teal and Black colour in this liner.
First thing I noticed was the application brush. It is a very small thin brush which allows you to draw on small stroked lines or thick defined lines! Very good since I like to change my make-up every now and again. Another thing that I noticed though was the smell. It has a very chemical like smell and it kind of made me scared to put it anywere near my eyes! However I did anyway (nervousely) and I was very pleased. The teal colour went on very pigmented and was a beautiful colour. The black was the same. There was no smudging, no panda eyes, no transfer and best of all it stayed on throughout the day. I have very oily lids so it is difficult for me to find an eyeliner that won't rub off througout the day.

Overall I would reccomend these eyeliners to anyone, they are cheap, colourful and easy to use!

        Disadvantages

A nice cheap product that will give you a bit of a different look.

Stargazer seem to be a company who tend to have a bit of a reputation for making cheap colourful products for a more alternative target market. While I'd say this pretty accurate, they do produce some products that would be suitable for a little less daring market, and I think their range of eyeliners would be a good example of this.

I own quite a few nice, brightly coloured Stargazer products, so when I saw these eyeliners I thought I'd give them a go, as they were only about £3 from a shop in Camden, but I know they sell them in New Look now too (which is a bonus if you're a student as you'll get 10% off!).

I chose a nice teal green coloured eyeliner which, when on is nice and bright and very eyecatching, without looking tacky. The liquid itself has quite a wet consistency (I know that sounds silly but you know what I mean... I hope) which helps it go on easily, but does mean that it takes a little while to dry which is not great if you're in a hurry - or need to sneeze - disaster.

If you're looking for something a little different and don't want to spend a load of money, these are great, give them a go!
