When I go to raves and parties, I like to have make up that stands out and matches my outfits, so I was well happy when I found Stargazers body paint range as they had colors that matched some of my rave outfits, and it was a decent price from a range I had previously used other items from
The special effects body paint comes in a range of colors, Orange, Green, Blue, White, Red, Pink, Silver and Gold. All the colors are UV and are really bright and vibrant. Perfect for raves. Being body paint it is not harmful to skin, and goes on quite smoothly too. The tubes are only small but you will be surprised at the amount that is actually in them and how long they will last you.
I bought Pink, Red, Orange and Green paints, and this cost me just under £10 for the 4, which is actually quite a good price. Some places charge up to £4 a tube for this stuff, but you can buy it in good fancy dress stores for anything between £2 and £3 a tube. You can also buy it from the stargazer website but I am not sure how much this costs.
The paint is quite thick, so you only need a tiny blob of it to make a good pattern on your face, or wherever you decide to put it. I used a small paint brush to make patterns out of it, and it is really easy to paint with. It dried quite well onto my face, and after a whole night of raving away, it had stayed put. It isn't so good to use as full eyeshadow as it stiffens on your eyelids and makes them a bit tight, but stargazer have their own range of eyeshadows in the same colors and these are also brilliant little products to use.
This washed off really easy with face wash and water, so no need for excess scrubbing and my skin felt fine afterwards. I was worried it would cause some soreness or a rash as I have very sensitive skin, but there was no problems at all with using it, and having used it many times now, I have had no problems what so ever, so no need to worry if you have sensitive skin, you should have no reaction.
If you want to use some cool colors of paint in a rave or anything you may need it for, I totally recommend stargazer as they are great paints and they stay put for many sweaty hours.
Ok so this is one of the products that we sell in the shop I work in. It's really versatile and sold out within about 2 weeks when we first got it in. I think theres quite a trend at the moment for neon and the "rave" look in some circles, it's cheap and easy to apply so why not try it!
We sell it for £2.50 and that is the average price of this product so it's pretty cheap for the great effects you can create with it.
Comes in a neat little tube perfect for squeezing out onto the back of one of your hands and then using this to dab a brush in. It seems like a small tube but take it from me, there is no way you'll get through this very quickly as it goes a long way!
The product itself:
the paint is an easy to apply and highly pigmented cream which can be painted on delicately with a make up brush/eyeliner brush to create intricate effects or just plain slopped over your face in big stripes like some kind of neon rambo!
I've seen this paint used in a variety of ways and it looks best applied with a steady hand and a lot of practice! Lots of nice intricate designs can be created with just a little effort and time!
worth your pennies, looks great, very bright oh and I forgot to mention GLOWS IN UV!!!
