Someone bought me this for Christmas last year and if Im honest I had never heard of the range "Stila" before I hadn't heard anyone talk about it and I hadnt (and still havent) seen it being sold anywhere. So to be honest I didnt know what effects/results this product would have when I used it so I went into using it with a completely open mind. I did like the idea that it could be used on both my lips and my cheeks because then I wouldnt have to carry so much make-up around with me in my make-up bag so thats got to be a good thing.
This products comes in a handy little pen type tube. I think the design is really nice and its a deep red/brown colour which looks really classy. The name Stila is written across the side is white lettering and the tube is decorated with little leaves and squiggles which I like.
The Stila Brand:
(Im not going to pretend I know lots about this brand, I googled it.)
Okay so Ive just found out that Stila is a brand that is mainly sold in America (so god knows where my auntie bought this from.) Apparently Stila is quite a well known high quality brand that from what I can see very is quite expensive.
I dont really need any colour on my cheeks but just for a laugh I thought Id try this one out.
It didnt work. I clicked the pen a couple of times and got a little bit of the product onto the brush and dabbed it onto my cheekbones. Unfortunately from there it went wrong. I found it wouldnt rub into my face no matter how hard I tried and it took me about 5 minutes just to make the colour fade down at all. After that I took a proper look in the mirror and found I looked like a pantomime dame or a child at their school play with bright red circles on my cheeks which no amount of dabbing with water seemed help. So this was a big fail on the cheek front and I dont recommend people use it for their face.
This part it did actually work on. A dabbed a bit onto my lips and in seconds in sunk in and stained. It left me with a nice deep red colour and my lips felt really moisturised and soft which surprised me. The taste of this is worth buying the product for because it tastes exactly like real glace cherries. The end result on my lips looked pretty good but I dont think it suited my skintone because it was to bright and washed all the colour out of my face.
I dont recommend this to anyone really. I cannot understand why this product is so expensive when the results you get from it are lets face it pretty rubbish. They have concentrated on making the outside of the pen so pretty they forgot to make the product inside it any good. Im glad I got this as a present and didnt form out the whopping £25 for it myself because I think you can probably guess where this product has ended up.
I didnt like it and I very much doubt other people will, unless you like looking like Widow Twanky!
Dont Waste Your Money.

Stila Cherry Crush comes in a click pen like the Stila Lip Glazes. When you click then pen, the product come easily to the surface, ready to use.
The taste of Stila's product is actually cherry, but its not overwhelming ...you can taste the flavor for a moment while the stain dries down. The color is a pretty cherry flush, not too bright and not too soft, although you can apply more to add more intensity. The stain dries down much faster than other tints.
the click style pen is much easier to use than the Benetint brush style. With the click style pen, you can control the product easier and it doesn't drip all over the place. The pen isn't glass like some of the other tints on the market, so there isn't a chance to break the bottle-so its easier to transport.
The pen has a really cute cherry color opaque design encapsulating the pen. Since its opaque, you can't see how much product you have left. At least with the Lip Glazes, you could see, with this; you can't.
If you never tried a stain for the lips and wanted to try, I say this is one of the best ive tried.
and as far as usage on the cheeks, I think it can be used that way, but like Benetint, you have to work fast when you apply it to the cheeks to get it where you want it to flush.
I think this product is good, and I plan to repurchase when I run out
****Stila Cherry Crush****
I first came across this brand when one of my friends said it was really good. I liked the idea of how it could be used either on lips or cheeks making it perfect to use on holidays as i wouldn't have to carry as much in my suitcase.
Stila is another high quality brand which is based in America. They are not the cheapest but i think with these brands you are paying for quality.
**The product and packaging **
The packaging for this is really appealing. It kind of looks like a high quality pen. Stilla is written on the tube which is a lovely red colour and it has pretty "squiggles on it"
So as i said above the thing i like the most about this is that it can be applied either on your lips or cheeks. When you apply it it has a smooth feel to it and if you have dry lips when you put it on it leaves them feeling hydrated. The colour is like a rich berry colour. I am not sure uf they offer any other colours but this one is lovely and i think it would suit most skin tones. This is long lasting and once applied to cheeks you don't have to reapply during the day. As you can tell by the name it tastes very sweet and like cherrys (the way it is supposed to) I love this product and it does what it claims. I keep mine in my travel bag as it is so handy not having to carry as much when i go on holiday.
Average price for this is around £18-if you see it anywhere cheaper buy it!!!
Another member has said they are £3 each so if she mentions where i will stick that in. I think they are worth as much as £18 so at £3 i would personally be sticking like the entire shops worth in my basket lol
