Advantages: all the above
Disadvantages: pricey
Stila Cherry Crush comes in a click pen like the Stila Lip Glazes. When you click then pen, the product come easily to the surface, ready to use.
The taste of Stila's product is actually cherry, but its not overwhelming ...you can taste the flavor for a moment while the stain dries down. The color is a pretty cherry flush, not too bright and not too soft, although you can apply more to add more intensity. The stain dries down much faster than other tints.
the click style pen is much easier to use than the Benetint brush style. With the click style pen, you can control the product easier and it doesn't drip all over the place. The pen isn't glass like some of the other tints on the market, so there isn't a chance to break the bottle-so its easier to transport.
The pen has a really cute cherry color opaque design encapsulating the pen. Since its opaque, you can't see how much product you have left. At least with the Lip Glazes, you could see, with this; you can't.
If you never tried a stain for the lips and wanted to try, I say this is one of the best ive tried.
and as far as usage on the cheeks, I think it can be used that way, but like Benetint, you have to work fast when you apply it to the cheeks to get it where you want it to flush.
I think this product is good, and I plan to repurchase when I run out
