Fruity colours galore (Stila Lip Glaze)
Member Name: pinky
Advantages: great colours and long-lasting Disadvantages: expensive
This product was well-advertised during the launched of the new 'Charlie's Angels' movie starring Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore and Lucy Liu. This was made especially for Cameron Diaz's role in CA by Jeanine Lobell, make-up artist and creator of Stila cosmetics, and also wife of Dr Greene of ER! If you are not living in London or Manchester, then, the closest that you can get hold of this lip gloss is through Space NK mail order. However, my friend who lives in US was kind enough to buy it for me through Sephora.com, so it costs less than the rrp in UK. Just $24 as opposed to 18 pounds. The mechanics is similar to Ruby and Millie's lip pen gloss, where the lip gloss is in effect a pen which you have to twist the top of the cap to release the gloss. The colours are vibrant - peach, strawberry, fruit punch, raspberry. Imagine fruity colours galore! As the package is transparent, you get to see the colour of the gloss. But don't be deceived by the intensity of the colour because when put onto the lips, it creates a sheer wash of gloss. I chose 'Fruit Punch' which is rosy pink and it has a faint fruity smell. The colours are absolutely perfect for summer! The gloss has just the right viscosity and consistency (neither too thick or too watery) and hence, do not fade away that easily in comparison with cheaper glosses. This is my favourite gloss at the moment and I always carry it with me when I travel. The brush applicator makes it so easy for touch-ups and because the gloss can only be released if you twist the cap, I don't have to worry about spillages onto my handbag! Perfect! Summary: |
