“ Brand: Stila / Gloss Set / Type: Lipgloss / Suitable for: Lip „
I have used Stila lip glosses in the past and really like them and so as I had some Boots Advantage points on my card in the run up to Christmas I decided to purchase this lovely set of three lip glosses. They were boxed in a nice gift set so they would make a nice gift for someone too who Liked this sort of thing. Priced at £10 for all three lipglosses I thought it was a really good deal because usually to just buy one costs you over £5 so you can see the savings immediately.
Stila say these lip glosses will keep pouts glossier and sexier And that you can" light up your mega-watt smile with high shine glosses that give your lips a splash of sheer colour."
The thing that attracted me to this set in particular was the three different colours. The box set is described as a warm colour set and These colours suit my skin tone so well. The first one is a lovely brown colour and is called chocolate and I find this always goes on really nicely and creates a great colour with the red of my lips.
The next one is a pink colour which includes a sparkle and is called creme bouquet. This is not a bright shocking pink but more of a nude, fleshy pink that again looks nice and natural.
The last one is more of a peachy/ gold looking lipgloss and is called Apricot. This also has some sparkles in it and I love the way these lipglosses add some shimmer to my lips and pick up and reflect the light from all different angles.
Each lip gloss contains 1.5 ml and they are really simple to use. They come in a clear see through plastic tube which I think is quite good because then you can see when you are running out and need to buy more,
In order to apply the lipgloss there is a bit at the bottom that you turn and this will click when you turn it. You keep clicking until the lipgloss comes out onto the brush. Sometimes, especially when these are new you can end up with a lot of gloss on the brush so to combat this I give the wand quite a hard shake before I use it and that generally settles it down.
A brush is a nice way to apply this gloss as I find it lends itself to a really nice smooth finish and look. The gloss is nice and shiny and stays on my lips for quite a long time.
All in all, a nice trio of lipglosses that I recommend.
