I've been paying a bit more attention to my nails lately, and as a consequence I decided that the nail varnish remover I must have had for at least eight years (and that's not even an exaggeration!) probably wouldn't work anymore and so should be replaced. I bought this one from Superdrug, for £1.39. I don't usually bother doing much with my nails, so I only needed something for occasional use. This is why I basically chose the cheapest nail polish remover I could find. This one claimed to be nourishing and acetone free, which I thought might benefit my nails slightly as the skin on my hands and feet can be dry and although my nails are healthy the cuticles ... I wear nail varnish pretty much everyday and I love experimenting with new colours and designs. I use nail varnish removing pads as well as liquid nail varnish remover to remove my nail varnish whenever it begins to chip or whenever I want to re-paint my nails and the current liquid nail varnish remover that I am using is from Superdrug. This is part of Superdrug's range of own brand cosmetics and skin care products and it's priced at £1.39 per 250ml bottle, which I think is a bargain considering how long a bottle lasts for, even when using it multiple times a week. ~ Why I Bought It ~ I love painting my nails and I tend to change the colour of them at least once a week. I have been using this nail varnish remover for the past few months and I bought it mainly because it was quite cheap. I also liked the sound of it with it being described as nourishing and it also says on the bottle that it contains aloe vera and viramin E which appealed to me. As for it being acetone free, I am not actually sure what acetone is and I don't think that it is too dangerous or anything so the fact that it is acetone free didn't have much impact on my decision to purchase it to be honest. ~ Price ~ A 250ml bottle of ... I like to do my nails myself as much as I can to cut costs on going to get my nails done professionally, which means I have an endless supply of nail polish! Regardless of brand I find after 3-4 days max my polish will chip and as I hate this look this means I remove my nail polish myself and it is time for a new colour/style. As a result I like to have supplies of nail polish remover, and one of the ones I have is this Superdrug brand remover. I tend to buy this one as it is quite cost effective, costing only £1.39 for a 250ml bottle which lasts me on average around 2-3 months. It comes in a clear bottle which shows how much of the product is left. ... Read the complete review

Very overpriced and does not create a false lash effect by itself.
