... as I picked one up you could see the pads were falling apart, the layers of the cotton weren't even stuck together properly and you could actually see through the pads so I could not understand how they could state that these were double faced cotton wool pads and that you would be able to get two uses out of each pad. Although I was dissapointed with the look of these pads, I still thought they would turn out ok to use.. but they get even worse on application. Any liquid applied to the cotton wool pad just goes rig...more

Tesco Large Oval Cotton Wool Pads: Complete useless rubbish!! (480 words)

I bought these large oval double faced cotton wool pads from tesco priced at £1.60. I thought they would come in useful as they are quite big in comparisson to your standard cotton wool pads so I thought I would use less - it's also double faced which is meant so the other side can be used too. The pads come in a drawstring bag and it is pretty basic in design but in terms of buying cotton wool pads I thought any would do the job and that you wouldn't really come across any that are of bad quality. But I have to say these are the worst i've ever come across and wouldn't recommend even bothering to purchasing these! They are ridiculous. On ...  Read the complete review

Tesco Large Oval Cotton Wool Pads - 50 pads for 88p I bought these cotton wool pads from Tesco last week. I usually use small round cotton wool pads for my cosmetic needs such as taking off eye make-up, using facial toner and dabbing Optrex on my eyes. I buy them from Tesco, Asda or Sainsbury's and they are all much the same. However last time I needed some, I found that Tesco didn't have any. I didn't have time to go elsewhere and figured that oval pads would be OK. However they were a bit of a disappointment. The pads come in a clear bag with a drawstring at the top. I think they cost me around 80 pence but for some reason they seem to have been removed from the Tesco website this week so I can't accurately check the price. However there is a pack of Tesco 'My ...  Read the complete review
