I find that the bronzer transfers from the beads to my brush really well and I much prefer having the beads to powder as it is much easier to make sure that I don't overload my brush and apply too much bronzer to my skin. It is also much less messy than with powder. The colour which comes from the beads might be a little dark for some people and I personally do find that it is a little bit too much for daytime wear and I would...more

The Body Shop Brush On Bronze: Much better as a freebie than had I bought it (488 words)

I am a girl who likes my bronzer. As I try and protect my skin as much as possible from the sun the only colour I normally get comes from fake tan and bronzers. I usually go through a ton of bronzer as I like to wear a little bit every day for a slight glow and loads on a night out for maximum bronzing effect. I actually got this Brush on Bronze from my sister as she had bought it and wasn't too keen. Never one to turn down a freebie I happily accepted it and to be honest I quite like it so far. It comes in a little clear tub and the bronzer is made up of lots of little bronzer balls and to use you just need to get your make-up brush and brush the beads ...  Read the complete review

Bring on the Bronze! (625 words)

Another popular The Body Shop make up product that was part of the "kit" I recieved when working as a BSAH rep last Christmas. I don't wear make-up everyday any more as I am a stay at home mum, so my make-up tends to last a long time! So the reason I still have it nearly a year later is nothing to do with the product itself. ~~~~~~~~The Body Shop Brush On Bronze~~~~~~~~~~ This is "pearls" type bronzer, also available as Brush On Radiance - a lighter shade for a less Bronzed look. The product comes in a squat, clear tub with a mirrored plastic lid that, despite the bronze tinge, makes a pretty good emergency mirror. I like that about a ...  Read the complete review

The Body Shop Brush On Bronze - Just Brush Right Past It! (515 words)
by - written on 28/01/09 (Very useful, 58 readings)

I am never seen without a little bit of bronzer to brighten up my complexion in winter, so I decided to give this a go as I am a great believer in trying lots of different beauty and cosmetic products until you find one that really suits you. It cost £12 from The Body Shop, and that was for a 28g pot. I have been using it for a few months now on a daily basis and the pot is still going strong, however while this may sound great, it is just typical of bronzers as they all seem to last me forever, rather than this product being exceptionally good value. It comes in a transparent plastic pot with a screw off gold lid with The Body Shop logo printed on the top of ...  Read the complete review

Hurrah! The pale girl celebrates finding a bronzer!!! (256 words)

Thank god! Something for the pale girls at last! This product is made up of lots of beads containing the bronzer. The beads are different colours to give an even colour and shimmer finish. It's a tan in a tub minus the peeling, burning and leathery skin! I'm so pale, I give Casper the friendly Ghost a run for his money and it has been a nightmare trying to find a bronzer or in fact anything that gives a bit of colour without going completely fakey orange. Because the beads are different colours, the end result is very natural and lifting. The shimmer through the beads gives a great sheen to the face without being overly ...  Read the complete review
