I have been under the weather a lot recently and therefore I have looked a bit like death warmed up. Pale, pasty and slightly cold! I work on a reception desk so all day I get comments like 'are you ok?? you don't look well! Goodness me you look rough today' Thanks!! So my life saver at the moment is this Body Shop Bronzer. It brings back a bit of life to my face. Thank goodness for small mercies! I originally found this by just browsing in the shop one day, it doesn't really stand out. Just a normal clear tub with a gold screw on lid with the Body Shop logo on top. The bronzer itself is what they call in a 'pearl' or 'bead' form. In other words little firm ... When I have a slight tan I love bronzer, it is a great way to accentuate a tan and make you look naturally made up without too much hassle and fussing to get a precise application. When I don't have a tan using bronzer is difficult to use without looking tangoed, less is definitely more! I like these pearls but it isn't the best bronzer I have used, I like shimmer waves more than this one. That said it is far better than brilliance powder that the Body Shop also offers. When I was younger this always looked like such a grown up product and something I really wanted to own! Well I guess, now I am a grown up! This is a clear ... Read the complete review

Another popular The Body Shop make up product that was part of the "kit" I recieved when working as a BSAH rep last Christmas. I don't wear make-up everyday any more as I am a stay at home mum, so my make-up tends to last a long time! So the reason I still have it nearly a year later is nothing to do with the product itself. ~~~~~~~~The Body Shop Brush On Bronze~~~~~~~~~~ This is "pearls" type bronzer, also available as Brush On Radiance - a lighter shade for a less Bronzed look. The product comes in a squat, clear tub with a mirrored plastic lid that, despite the bronze tinge, makes a pretty good emergency mirror. I like that about a ... Read the complete review

I am never seen without a little bit of bronzer to brighten up my complexion in winter, so I decided to give this a go as I am a great believer in trying lots of different beauty and cosmetic products until you find one that really suits you. It cost £12 from The Body Shop, and that was for a 28g pot. I have been using it for a few months now on a daily basis and the pot is still going strong, however while this may sound great, it is just typical of bronzers as they all seem to last me forever, rather than this product being exceptionally good value. It comes in a transparent plastic pot with a screw off gold lid with The Body Shop logo printed on the top of ... Read the complete review

Thank god! Something for the pale girls at last! This product is made up of lots of beads containing the bronzer. The beads are different colours to give an even colour and shimmer finish. It's a tan in a tub minus the peeling, burning and leathery skin! I'm so pale, I give Casper the friendly Ghost a run for his money and it has been a nightmare trying to find a bronzer or in fact anything that gives a bit of colour without going completely fakey orange. Because the beads are different colours, the end result is very natural and lifting. The shimmer through the beads gives a great sheen to the face without being overly ... Read the complete review
