... As I am quite pale, I opt to do this and then apply "Brush on Bronze" to the cheeks. The pearls are smooth and a little shimmery. They just add a certain depth to your make up and stop your foundation from looking like a mask. They are wonderful to just brighten the face a little and to help to shade and sculpt subtly. Another tip is to take about 5 pearls out of the pot and crush them in another empty tub, then apply this as a loose powder, using a blusher brush, for more concentrated colour. These ar...more

Premium Review The Body Shop Brush On Buff: Superb little pot of bronzing goodness for your skin (717 words)

I actually bought this product after reading the other review for this on Dooyoo since it seemed like just the thing I have been after for quite a while now. This is a bronzing product made by the Body Shop, and I think it is fabulous, hence the 5 stars for the product! The Body Shop are a famous company who make many different products but with a difference compared to many other cosmetic brands out there. They are completely against animal testing, they support community trade, and they try their best to protect the planet by making their packaging recyclable and out of recyclable materials. This particular product is a bronzing powder for your ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review GOODNESS! GRACIOUS! GREAT BALLS INSPIRE! (618 words)

This product is one of my favourite Body Shop cosmetics. I wear just a little foundation these days, having discovered that even just a moment’s heavy-handedness can cause my complexion to look flat and tired. Gone are the days I can trowel on the panstick and look like a cupie doll. The result is more a nightmare of Baby Jane proportions. I discovered the Body Shop Brush-On Buff a couple of years ago when I was looking for something that would enliven my complexion as well as act as a sealant to my foundation. The product comes in 23g of shimmering, coloured powder beads with light diffusing particles and pearl pigments. This ...  Read the complete review

**** Introduction **** Having recently hosted a body shop at home party, I got lots of new body shop products free as part of the host incentive. As my party pulled in over five hundred pounds in sales I get just over two hundred pounds in cash, which could be spent on any products that the body shop are currently selling. I have now replaced all of my make-up with the body shop brands, I have always liked bronzing pearls so when I saw that they are still selling the brush on buff I just had to get one. **** The Brush On Buff **** The brush on buff is the body shops version of bronzing pearls, these pearls come in a ...  Read the complete review

Brush on Buff is one of the products I could not live without. It is a lovely little 28g pot of bronzing pearls. Although it is called "buff" the do provide a small hint of colour to my pale skin. I usually use them with a large powder brush to cover areas of my face which would get some sun. As I am quite pale, I opt to do this and then apply "Brush on Bronze" to the cheeks. The pearls are smooth and a little shimmery. They just add a certain depth to your make up and stop your foundation from looking like a mask. I have used alot of body shop products and think think thier fab, my make up bag is full of thier products, including this one. Can be used on checks, and over the body such as arms and shoulders, if u want a bit of a glow, great if u need a quick fix if your going out and have not had time to do a fake tan. I use the body shop all in one and use this as a blusher over it and it looks fab. if u need to re-apply ovre the day, it don't start looking like you've put too much make up on. But lives your skin still looking fresh. The best bit is that i can't tell that it is going to last me a long time, as a little goes a long way. even if you ...  Read the complete review
