... "light diffusing particles and pearl pigments provide shimmer and sparkle which highlight the skin and help to disguise fine lines around the eye area." I would agree with the first part of this statement and I did like the shimmery look the product initially created, but I've not persevered with it long enough to know if it combats fine lines. Applying makeup isn't something that comes naturally to me, but if you are a pro at applying cream eyeshadow and you like the colours on offer in the Body Shop range...more

I am a huge fan of the body shop and I review as many products as I can to make people aware of the products and the body shop itself. Yes some items can be very expensive but the body shop pride themselves in the fact that they never test on animals, use natural ingredients in every product they produce and they also support many community trade programmes across the world. I feel that buying from the body shop I can not only get fantastic products but I can also help the environment. THE PRODUCT Here I am going to review the body shops cream eye shadow, usually I never wear a cream shadow I always find that I am best suited ...  Read the complete review

**** Introduction **** Having just received my new make up from the free money I had to spend at a body shop party, I am now spoiled for choice on what make-up to wear. At the moment I am working my way through the forty four items I purchased, thanks to the host rewards system. Today I got ready to go out for breakfast with my family, so I thought I would give this Body Shop cream eye colour a try. **** The Eye Colour **** On my first impressions I loved the colour as it was an ice blue ( Artic O3 shade ) I love to wear blues on my eyes as it seems to enhance the colour of them, anyway to be perfectly honest this is ...  Read the complete review

I have never been a fan of cream eye colour as it tends to be hit and miss as to whether or not it is any good but when I got this one as a gift last Christmas I thought it only right I give it a try with an open mind and am now very glad that someone decided it would be a good gift. I was given the shade 05 Mink. This is a natural brown, great for a natural look or can be used more heavily for a more obvious eye. I have found that I can even make a smoky look with it, which I hadn't expected. This comes in a small tube with a screw cap that pulls out a wand to apply the colour. The wand is similar to what you would find in a lip-gloss. When you ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review A bit creamy and creasy  (193 words)

I decided to give this product a go because I occasionally mix my eyeshadows with Vaseline and I wanted to see what a cream-based eyeshadow would be like. However I was quite disappointed with this product, I didn't think the applicator was very easy to use and I found that once I'd managed to gain an even coverage (which was difficult) it creased shortly afterwards. As with most products in the Body Shop range, this item contains lots of natural ingredients. The Body Shop website says this product has "light diffusing particles and pearl pigments provide shimmer and sparkle which highlight the skin and help to disguise fine lines around the eye ...  Read the complete review
