Advantages: Moisturising, long lasting and a wide range of shades.
Disadvantages: None
Out of the whole make up range in The Body Shop I would say that the the eye colour eyeshadows are of the best quality, last the longest, and to me stand out the most. They come in twenty three different shades, as well as the seven other shades of the 'eye shimmers' which are as equally defiant and long lasting as the normal eyeshadows. I have been wearing my indigo (blue) shimmer eye colour outlined by the sky blue eye colour since this morning, and it is still going strong. The shades apply incredibly easily, and as they contain marula oil they do not look dry or cakey on the eye lid, but instead they add the extra moisture that the delicate eye area needs. Some eyeshadows go on and merely sit on top of the lid, but you can really see with these the quality and depth that these shadows give. You can build the coverage as little or as much as you want, applying several times will not look cheap or tacky as market eyeshadows do, they just build in depth and colour and the brighter shades give an amazing effect when really built up. A tip is to slightly dampen the eyeshadow applicator (whether it be a brush or finger) for an even fuller and longer lasting effect. As they come in so many shades the eyecolours are extremely complimenting and most match one another - I love to wear the amethyst and the damson shades (light and dark purples) as well the blues mentioned above.
Summary: Overall, extremely well made and high quality.
