I decided to treat myself to some new makeup brushes so I bought the gold brush roll from the Body Shop. The eye shadow brush was included in this. *Packaging/Appearance* I bought this in a brush set so for me it came in the gold wrap, but if you buy it alone I think it doesn't come in any packaging at all. As with all the Body Shop Brushes it has a unique shape. It's thin at the top and chunky at the bottom (A bit like a bootleg trouser). On the brush handle it says 'The Body Shop' and round the other side it says 'Eyeshadow' so that we know what the brush is for which I find very useful because I'm quite clumsy and would probably use it as a lip brush ... I was very unsure when I got this brush on what is its purpose. I did not work for me like a brilliant eye shadow brush. I mean this brush feels stiff a bit like their slanted brush. The bristles are not even densely packed. I really though is just going to sit on my table looking pretty but eventually with some practice and experience I started to see its use and I feel in love with it. The best was to use is to apply eye shadow to the inner corner of the eye also for brow highlight. I use it to apply white or light colours that help my eyes look bigger and brighter. This brush is really easy to use, the natural bristles feel nice on the eye and the product is made out of recycled products. This brush is easy to use and the thing I like about it is that it makes good use of the eye shadow, it also makes your eye shadow go further, when you use this brush you don't need much shadow to create a good look. For this reason I think it's quite an economical buy, because it will help expensive eyeshadow to go further. My one criticism is that it's not really anything special - other than being made out of recyclable products and being from The Body Shop there isn't really anything unique about it. It isn't ... I have this brush in the mini/ travel size and it is the best eyeshadow brush I have used. The bristles are really soft, but not too soft that you don't manage to pick up any product. It doesn't pull on your skin (which can cause signs of aging) and really just goes to show the importance of finding a high quality set of brushes. I have found that since using this brush the colour payoff of my shadows seems to have been improved, alongside blendability. It just manages to make your whole look seem softer and more professional. The travel size is really easy to control and hold, due to the smaller handle, however, I have tried out the larger brush ... Read the complete review
