I also think this product is overpriced; you don't get a lot of foundation for your money. If you like to wear a thick layer of makeup then you might like this product, but if yo...more

Premium Review The Body Shop Flawless Skin Protecting Foundation: Eliminate Spots Like Mount Everest....... (1115 words)

INTRODUCTION The morning before a night out, which I had been looking forward to for so long I woke up with a spot the size of mount Everest on the end of my nose. I headed straight to my make-up to try to find something that would cover the monstrosity. As foundation or consealer is something I rarely wear my old faithful make-up bag failed to help on this occasion, so I grabbed my bag and headed for the local body shop to find something suitable. When I got there the shop assistant pointed out this flawless skin protecting foundation, and assured me it would work wonders for my spot that was growing really red by the ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review If you like the "Caked In Slap" look, this is for you! (400 words)

Yet another Body Shop item I have left over from my (very short) time as a Body Shop At Home Rep. I personally prefer liquid foundations and even then I don't use foundation every day but I thought I'd review this as it's probably my least favourite of all their make-up products. Packaging and appearance This comes in a very shiny flat case, reflective enough to be a mirror which is quite useful! Inside is the applicator sponge and the foundation, You don't get much foundation considering the size and price. Texture I wouldn't say this is really cream-to-powder. It is thick and sticky which makes it fiddly to apply with any accuracy. ...  Read the complete review

I tried this product once and I will never purchase it again! On the surface it looks like this product has potential, the packaging is effective - it comes with a mirror and a sponge to help with application and the foundation itself is very smooth and feels like it would apply well. However my high hopes were shattered, the consistency of the foundation is far too oily and you can't create a light coverage with the enclosed sponge, I ended up looking like an orange Upalumpa - a look I wasn't looking to achieve!  I found that the results were marginally better when I applied the foundation with a makeup brush, but still, I wasn't ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Not that flawless on it's own... (319 words)

I've been a fan of Body shop products for many years now, so always find myself trying out theie new ranges when they are released. My only problem with buying foundations and concealers is that I am very pale skinned so many brands of make up just don't cater for my skin tone. Coupled with having sensitive skin this rules out most brands of foundation for me. So there I was umming and ahhing over whether to try this product when a sales assistant came over to me and said would I like to test out some shades in the shop. We found that shade 01 (the lightest, as I expected) matched my skin tone the best. Knowing that things always look ...  Read the complete review
