I first used this cream when I joined The Body Shop at Home as a Consultant. It came in the kit I received and I always pass it around at my parties and it is a popular choice for customers. It comes in a rather large metallic tube with a strong plastic screw top lid which is quite small so makes standing the tube upright quite difficult.. It is dull metal colour with a green and black box on the front, emblazoned with a cannabis leaf and the product name on the front. Instructions are on the back. It contains hemp seed oil which is full of fatty acids and helps to restore and maintain your skins moisture levels and make your skin much softer. ... Read the complete review

Before I had children I used to ask my mum why she had such rough hands. She told me it was something that happened once you had kids to look after because your hands were always in and out of water. Rubbish, I thought. Why don't you just wear rubber gloves? Once I had children I realised that that wasn't always possible and when my hands started to get chapped and sore I realised I'd need to do something about it. I'd heard about The Body Shop's Hemp Hand Protector from a friend with similarly chapped hands and decided to give it a go. I paid over my £9 (harsh, but I was willing to give anything a go) and took it home. The Hemp Hand ... Read the complete review

I never used hand creams until a year ago when I started to get eczema on the back of my hand. I tried various moisturising creams recommended by friends but they were usually completely ineffective or too greasy and when you handle precious metal wire and crystals all day, greasy hands aren't particularly useful. So on a chance visit to a Body Shop store over the summer my attention was drawn to a big display of the Hemp range. I was more curious about the fact that it was hemp being used in a product (I did know that it was used for more than smoking but I'll be honest and say I wanted to see if the products had the whiff of a spliff about them!) but ... Being a man I am not really into beauty products and the whole regime thing, to be honest I don't have the time, inclination or sticking power when it comes to doing something once or twice a day like that. Her indoors always goes on at me and says how much easier my life would be if I tried having a regular regime I stuck to when it comes to looking after my skin. Before I met her I used soap on my face and shower gel on my body, that was it when it came to cleansing, but now I use whatever cleanser she buys, exfoliate once a week (ish) and my skin does feel better for it but as for creams lotions and potions unless my skin is dry or sore then I really can't ... I'm not really the type of guy who uses hand, face or even foot cream, but due to the nature of the sports I am into (Powerlifting & Strongman) I've had to take action. I started to get callus on my hands, which is basically when the skin gets rough and thick. It's not that painful as such but is very annoying when lifting weight and occasionally did cause my skin to rip. So as everyone does I asked my mum what I should do and she recommended The Body Shop Hemp Hand Protector. My first thoughts were 'damn a cream made from cannabis, what the hell!'. So I tried it out anyway what did I have to lose. The Body Shop Hemp Hand Protector is thick ... Read the complete review
