I first used this cream when I joined The Body Shop at Home as a Consultant. It came in the kit I received and I always pass it around at my parties and it is a popular choice for customers.

It comes in a rather large metallic tube with a strong plastic screw top lid which is quite small so makes standing the tube upright quite difficult.. It is dull metal colour with a green and black box on the front, emblazoned with a cannabis leaf and the product name on the front. Instructions are on the back.

It contains hemp seed oil which is full of fatty acids and helps to restore and maintain your skins moisture levels and make your skin much softer. It also contains Allantoin which helps to soothe the skin and panthenol to help improve your nails


The cream is a light green colour and rather thick so you only need to squeeze a small amount out. You hands feel instantly softer and smoother but it does not make them feel greasy. It rubs in really well and does not leave any visible marks. Id say the smell was a matter of opinion. I'd describe it as an earthy smell. Rather like cut grass in a way.

It costs £9.00 for a 100ml tube which does sound a bit steep for a hand cream but you really do only need to use a small amount so the tube will last a long time. Also if your hands are "normal" , not overly dry or cracked then you may not need something so mistuning as this is made for very dry skin.

White cotton gloves are also available from The Body Shop to use with the cream for a more intensive treatment and a range of other Hemp products are available, including a foot protector and a Body Butter. Like the hand protector, these are aimed at people with very dry skin.


Overall Id say this is a really good cream for people with very dry skin. Id say that men will be tempted to buy this product because if anything the packaging is quite masculine. It is not a girly product and does not have a feminine smell. It works really well and will help those with very dry skin.
