Advantages: It is cooling and keeps lips soft

Disadvantages: Smell, taste, packaging and price

...when I use the body shop's medicated lipbalm. It has menthol with rosemary and thyme oils in it which makes it smell and taste really really weird, (kind of a sweet herby, lentilly, minty taste). Anyway, whenever I put it on and my boyfriend comes near me he hates it and says it smells and tastes just horrible, so I wouldn't reccomend this for when you're out on the pull!

Apart from that though it does feel quite pleasant, but a bit strange, when you apply it, kind of really cooling and a bit tingly, (the actual tube claims that "You can feel it working".

Though this product does moisturise and protect the lips well it is definately not one of my favorite lipbalms. The packaging is also a little unattractive and "medical". It comes in a light turquoise-blue tube with a black top and with white writing on it.

If you want to buy a really good lip balm for chapped lips I suggest you steer clear of the body shop and get nivea lip repair instead.
