I bought this after reading great things about it both on review sites and in magazines. It costs £9.25.

It comes in a clear tube which you can see the colour of the stain through, and it has a silver lid which screws off to reveal a lip gloss style wand. The packaging does look very nice and it has a high quality look and feel about it. The wand has a sponge tip applicator, just like your averaged lip gloss, which make sit very easy to apply.

It can be used on the lips, just as you would use a gloss, or on the cheeks. Applying it to the lips is very easy and it can be done with little effort even without the aid of a mirror. It's just like a gloss to apply, but it feels and looks rather different. Instead of sitting in a layer on top of your lips, it simply sinks in to the skin, leaving behind a stain, which gives a nice sheer wash of colour. The great thing about this of course, is that it does not come off when you eat, drink, or kiss people. The downside for me is that it is not moisturising, but that's easily solved as you can simply use your normal lip balm over the top of it.

To use it on the cheeks you simply dab a bit on with the applicator and blend with your fingertips until you've built up a colour you like. It is a very pinky red colour that it produces, and you do need to be very careful not to apply too much as it does look extremely obvious if you do, but applied correctly it gives a a healthy, fresh-faced glow to your skin.

It stays on well, and I find I don't need to keep re-applying it as I do with a lip gloss, which means I don't use much of it at any one time and the tube lasts well. I really do like this stuff and will definitely be buying it again.
