Advantages: Two in one product

Disadvantages: Difficult to make precision applications especially on the lips

The Body Shop Lip and Cheek Tint I actually received as a free gift but it is available in most Body Shop stores and online at www.thebodyshop.co.uk
priced at £10

The product has a twelve month expiry date.

The product comes in a small clear tube of 8mls or 0.2 us fl oz along with a silver colour screw on lid , this also contains the wand to which you apply the stain.

I like the see through tube as this gives me a clear idea of how much is left therefore never running out. Also this gives you a much better idea of the colour that you are buying. Whilst on colour, mine is rose pink, this is a bright what looks like red from outside but once you open the tube it is more of a deep pinky red and this is the colour it dries. It also comes in bronze glimmer but this is the only two shades, so a few more colours would be nice.

APPLICATION
The wand is attached with the lid and therefore has a reasonable handle to grip, the wand is long enough to reach right to the end of the time allowing easy reach for the last drops. The end is a spatula shaped brush which is small only about a cm with very furry little bristles which are soft and comfortable when applying to both the lips and cheeks.
I do find it a little difficult to get precision application without taking my time and I could never apply this without a mirror.
It is very liquid in consistency and I think this is what adds to the more difficult application and I do need to allow it to dry for a few seconds before licking my lips of drinking etc to allow the stain to set.
With regards to the cheeks easier application just swoosh a line or circle on and then rub with your fingertips, again though for someone looking for precision make-up I think this would need a lot of practice.
It does give a more natural effect than some stains on the market and you can also put a lip gloss over the stain once it has dried to enhance it. Or you could just keep on applying more layers to get a deeper colour effect.
The stain does last for a good few hours on the lips, slightly less if you are drinking, which is ok but with the need for a mirror to apply it is probably not suited for long nights out in my opinion. On the cheeks however, it lasts for hours.

REMOVAL
Removal is easy, soap and water work well much it is simpler with make-up remover I find, I have not tried wipes but I do not see any reason why they would not be easy to remove the stain.

OVERALL
I do like the idea of a two in one product as it is so simple for the handbag. However the downside for me is the need for a mirror and the slightly difficult less precision application.
Good if you are a teenager probably or going away and want to reduce how much you take.
It kind of reminds me of the sweet candy lipsticks you used to get that you had to like the they would stain you lips before you ate them!

Review maybe posted on ciao and dooyoo under the same username.

Summary: A great idea but is difficult to make precision applications
