If you feel more powder/coverage is needed repeat - however remember that the powder takes a little time to settle. The foundation powder should match your skin almost exactly and so there should not be any unsightly orange jaw lines! I would sweep your foundation brush around your face and jaw line to ensure all the powder has been applied properly to you...more

Premium Review The Body Shop Nature's Minerals Foundation Brush: The end of my quest (353 words)

I am in love with this makeup brush!! The moment I saw it in the shop, I just knew that it had to be mine. I have always thought that body shop brushes were good quality but this one really performs perfectly. I have been using mineral makeup for about 2 years now and have long been on the quest for a "kabuki" brush (a small brush with a very dense head of dome shaped bristles) which feels high quality but does not cost the earth. Every time I spy one in a shop I have a play with the tester and in the meantime I had been using one that cost about the same as the body shop brush but was scratchy and shed bristles ...  Read the complete review

I have been wanting to try a good Mineral makeup foundation powder for a while now, and I understood that with Mineral foundation you need a good kabuki brush as mineral makeup powder is very fine and light. A Kabuki brush is a small brush usually with a dense head of bristles or dome shaped. If you wear mineral make up then a good kabuki brush is classed as essential. Mineral make up is a loose powder foundation that is very natural and good for all skin types. There are no perfumes, nasty chemicals or preservatives. When using a normal make up brush with a minerals foundation it can look a bit too heavy, but using a good brush designed for use with mineral ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review The Body Shop Nature's Minerals Foundation Brush: The only brush to use with your mineral foundation (253 words)

If you use mineral powder foundation, espeically the body shop's version- this is the only brush for you. The thick head f fine brushes is perfect for applying the power and achieving the coverage you want. Here is how: 1. With the foundation pot closed, tip it upside down and shake. Turn upright and open. 2. You will notice some of the powder will have stuck to the inside of your lid, work your brush into the powder in the lid in circular motions. 3. Apply to your face, again in circular motions. You can use a little pressure, but not too much. 4. If you feel more powder/coverage is needed repeat - however remember that the powder takes a ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Great Foundation. (173 words)

Prior to this make up, i used to wear Dream Matt Mouse. It made my skin awful and was bad for my complection. I then discovered Rimmel Londons mineral make up, however i thought that it was very cakey, and applied very thickly onto my skin, giving an unnatural look, that i was not looking for. I then found Body Shops Mineral Foundation, and i have to say i was extremely impressed with it. The brush has to be bought seperately, however it is very efficient and gives a good coverage of the foundation over the whole face, and it reaches into all creases in the face, which i found very good. The foundation gives a light coverage that can be built up in layers to create a ...  Read the complete review
