Advantages: Does a great job
Disadvantages: none
I own all the brushes from Body Shop because I absolutely love the quality of them so I used them quite often. When I saw the nature's minerals foundation brush when it was launched I had serious doubts if it can compare in quality with other brushes that I own especially designed for this purpose. Mineral foundation make-up is really tricky to apply and any brush just won't do.
I first ordered it over the internet as I just cold not be bothered travelling to my nearest Body Shop retailer and hour away. It arrived quickly and it was presented in a free black plastic pouch , very useful if I have to take the brush with me or just for general storing. Sometimes I fill it with powder foundation or finishing powder and half way trough the day in summer times, when is hot and I get sweaty, I just take it our off my purse and apply an extra layer over my existing make-up to even things out.
The bristles are very dense well packed and it feels extremely soft. First time I washed this brush before I used it a few hairs fell off it but over time of use I did not had this problem anymore.
I use it by packing the mineral powder into the bristles, tap it once and then I either apply with circular motion on my face and neck or with soft downwards stokes. With the down strokes method is much more better when my skin feels dry and patchy as the powder does not maximise this effect.
This brush cost £15 and is not the most expensive one I have, I also have an Inkia bush and 2 other Lily Lolo ones and it does compare in softness and efficiency with my others.
I wash my kabuki brushes after a couple of uses and this Body Brush makes a very good replacement when my others are dirty and waiting to be washed.
Overall is a very good brush if you do not have access to the internet into purchasing this type of kabuki brushes and is most definatly the best quality brush you can find in a high street shops.
Summary: Highly recommended
